Over 100 heritage and other buildings in Madhya go blue in support of kids on World Children’s Day

BHOPAL: On the occasion of World Children’s Day (November 20), UNICEF as the lead global organization for child rights has taken up the responsibility for positioning children’s issues to elevate their rights on the public agenda.
One of the core themes is to ask people to “GoBlue for children” for celebrating children, supporting their rights and amplifying their voices. One of the important dimensions across the world is to encourage important heritage buildings/monuments to #GoBlue on November.
Under this initiative, in Madhya Pradesh, over 100 building were lit up with blue lights in a joint initiative by MP Tourism ASI and Department of Archaeology and the government of Madhya Pradesh from midnight of November 19 till midnight of November 20, 2025 to show support to children.
Also, the pyramid at Jagran Lake City University and Kachra Cafe at 10 number market in Bhopal were illuminated with blue lights.
Anil Gulati, Chief (a.i.) UNICEF MP, thanked MP Tourism, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Madhya Pradesh Department of Archaeology and others for standing and supporting child rights.
