VYAPAM: Sanjeev Saxena may walk free, gets bail in two more cases

Bhopal: Sanjeev Saxena, a key accused in Vyapam scam, may walk free now. He has got bail from High Court.

Saxena, who owns a private educational group that runs engineering colleges, has been in jail after his arrest.

He had been booked in several cases including forest recruitment exam sacm, police recruitment scam, contract teachers and milk federation exam.

However, he had got bail in two cases. Today, Jabalpur High Court granted him bail in two more cases.

Now he is likely to be released soon. Sources said that he may be released on Saturday or Monday.

Saxena was an accused in Vyapam scam and was absconding for long before he was arrested.

He has been in jail on judicial custody for over a year. Earlier, his bail plea was rejected by the Supreme Court. Saxena nurses political ambitions. He was earlier with BSP and later joined Congress.
