Social media meet conducted by UNICEF on the theme of learning recovery in Bhopal

BHOPAL: A social media meet engaging Instagram influencers and bloggers was conducted on Monday by UNICEF office of Madhya Pradesh in Bhopal. The meet had participation of around 35 such influencers and bloggers, who were sensitised on the issues of education, learning, challenges on learning post covid and efforts by the State.
Prashant Pathrabe, Additional Director General, Press Information Bureau (PIB), who spoke at the meet, said that this is a nice step by UNICEF to engage with social media influencers on important issues like education. He also spoke about the efforts by PIB on social media and on need to constantly engage with influencers in the region.
F A Jami, Education Specialist, UNICEF, MP India made a presentation on the challenges of learning recovery, efforts being made by the state government and the steps to be taken to address the challenge. He said that learning recovery for children needs longer time and efforts by the government is necessary to help them recover from the learning loss.
Facilitating the meet Anil Gulati, Communication Specialist, UNICEF India said that the aim of efforts like these is to increase discourse on the theme of education, addressing challenges of learning and bring attention to efforts of learning recovery.
Brian Boye, Communication Officer, UNICEF India, who joined in from Delhi, shared the UNICEF India social media handles, and explained how these handles could be engaged with to raise the issue of learning recovery.
Participants included members of Wassup-Bhopal, BIG (Bhopal Influencers Group), Bhopal city information portal, and lifestyle bloggers like Saim Khan, Abhivyakti Dixit, Samarpita Mukherjee Sharma, Roshni Gupta, Rashmi Goyal, Aman Updhyaya, Deepali Sharma, Pallavi Agarwal, Anadi Tiwari, Mehak Khan, Ratan and others.
