Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, who is in the midst of controversy after NIA dropped charges against her, has put the MP government in a tight spot.
She wants to take a holy dip in Kshipra river and had sought permission. However, she hasn't got the permission and has begun a fast.
Sources said that she has claimed that it is a 'fast-unto-death'. She had written to the State government, seeking permission.
However, due to security reasons, she has not been given permission. Now she claims that she is on fast-unto-death.
Also, she has reportedly said that she would take 'samadhi'. She is angry with MP government. Pragya Thakur has been in judicial custody in Bhopal.
On court's orders, Pragya is currently getting herself treated in the Khushilal Sharma Ayurvedic Sansthan in Bhopal. Earlier, also she got reprieve from jail and was sent to hospitals for medication.
Government officials remain mum over the demand. There has been no response to queries in this regard so far. Pragya Thakur is an accused in Malegaon blast case but NIA had recently dropped charges against her.
