Model injured, hospitalised after row over youths peeping into changing room during fashion show

BHOPAL: A model was injured after a row during a fashion show at the Ashima Mall in Bhopal.

The model, Simran, was injured and was admitted to the hospital.

The show was going on and some youths were allegedly peeping into the changing room, said models.

This angered Simran, who yelled and scolded the youths. But the show stopper Kanak Soni confronted Simran and began thrashing her.

Simran was allegedly slapped and thrashed. She fell down and fainted. Later, she was rushed to the hospital. As she was having breathing problem, she was admitted to the ICU.

Another model who supported Simran was shut in a separate room by show stopper and organisers, alleged models. Soni however refuted the charge.

She said that Simran was shouting at her and attacked her (Soni) with the footwear, which led to the scuffle. The police later reached the spot. Inquiry is being conducted to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the row.
