BHOPAL: Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria arrived in Madhya Pradesh to offer prayers at Pitambara Pith.
Kaneria was accompanied by his family members, performed 'aarti' and stayed in temple for two hours.
The former leg-spinner said that he had come to Pith as he was troubled. Kaneria said that he wants to play more cricket in coming days.
After arriving in Datia, he straight went to the Pitambara Pith and met the priest. He discussed his personal problems with him, so as to perform the particular 'puja' to get rid of them.
Pitambara Pith is well-known as a Tantrik pith, where celebrities keep coming to get rid of their problems. Kaneria was banned for spot fixing in county cricket in England.
Later, Pakistan cricket board and ICC too put its seal on the decision. Lately, he had alleged that he was discriminated in Pakistan, and would have got justice had he played in India.
Actor Sanjay Dutt had also visited the place sometime ago. Politicians who fear that they have been target of Tantriks or black-magic also keep visiting this famous shrine near Gwalior.
