BHOPAL:An engineering college student committed suicide in Bhopal on Tuesday.
The youth, Shashi Gupta, who was studying in the Radharaman College, hanged self in the morning.
Gupta hailed from Jharkhand. He lived in a hostel here. In the morning, he had breakfast with his friends. Later, he went to his room where he hanged himself.
When another youth spotted him hanging, he informed the rest of the students. The police were called. No suicide note was recovered from the room.
The police said that it was not clear what were the reasons behind his decision to end his life. His family has been informed about the incident. The local police are conducting investigation in the case. The body has been kept in the mortuary.
