Congress complaint against Shivraj Chouhan over 'hiding info, poor health services'

HARDA: Congress has alleged that the data was manipulated and figures of deaths due to Coronavirus were suppressed.

The party leaders said that there were huge irregularities apart from lack of health services, and as a result action should be taken. 

Its delegation went to the police, demanding registration of an FIR in this regard.

A delegation of the district Congress committee went to the police, handing over the memorandum, seeking FIR in this regard. The party district chief Om Patel, former state vice-president Dr RK Dogne, Hemant Tale, other leaders went to the police station and said that 'figures were suppressed and data of deaths was manipulated'.

They also said that due to poor facilities and lack of injections, Oxygen, many people died but the figures were not revealed. They said that this was a huge failure. The complaint claims that the authorities played with lives of the people and failed in every respect, as far as dealing with the situation, is concerned.

Opposition leaders said that an FIR should be registered. They sought action under the sections meant for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The delegation of party workers handed over a memorandum, seeking that the case should be registered against chief minister. The memo was given in presence of the sub-divisional officer of police.
