BHOPAL: On the eve of Madhya Pradesh's foundation day, a unique and inspiring scene unfolded at Bhopal's Kachra Cafe No. 10.
Responding to the call of Bhopal's youth, hundreds of young volunteers associated with the "Youth for Children" campaign lit 1,000 lamps to demonstrate their commitment to the safety, protection, and education of children.
This event marked a powerful step towards realizing the spirit of "Child-friendly Madhya Pradesh." Similar events were organised by youth volunteers at Shivpuri and Dhar districts too.
The program emphasized that child protection is not just government responsibility, but a shared responsibility of every segment of society. Information about child protection efforts since Madhya Pradesh came into being as a state was shared with the youth. The young people were urged to play an active role in advancing child rights.
On this occasion, Anil Gulati, Communications and Office In-charge, UNICEF Madhya Pradesh, said “'Youth for Children' is a voluntary movement that is working to make the youth of the state aware and active in the interest of children. When the youth become the voice of the children, the light of change automatically spreads in the society."
Youngsters from the ‘Youth for Children’ campaign enthralled the participants with inspirational songs and music.
On the eve of Madhya Pradesh's foundation day and the pious occasion of Devuthani Gyaras, the lamp lighting program by the youth of Youth for Children not only illuminated the cities but also gave the message that when the society comes together and takes steps for the future of the children, the flame of development burns even brighter.
