BHOPAL: In a tragic incident, a BJP MLA who was on way to Bhopal was killed in a road mishap.
The legislator, Rajendra Dadu, represented Nepanagar constituency in Burhanpur district.
He was coming to Bhopal, via Indore, by road route, ahead of the Rajya Sabha polls.
The mishap took place in Bhopal. He succumbed to the injuries. Dadu was to attend a meeting of BJP legislators to chalk out strategy for the polls on Thursday evening.
After the mishap, the meeting was postponed. The car in which he was travelling, overturned near Saikdakhedi in Sehore district. His gunman and companions were injured.
