Bhopal: It was a plan hatched by a widowed woman and her paramour to kill three minors who were witness to the duo's illicit relations. But the conspiracy went bad and resulted in killing of the woman and her daughter along with three other minors.
Bhind police have resolved the multiple murder case that rocked the town on Saturday, arresting Nitesh alias Ankur Dixit, paramour of the killed woman Reena Shukla.
Reena (40) along with her 12-year-old daughter Chhavi and three other minor relatives of the family were found murdered at their home in Virendra Nagar on Saturday morning. Throats of all of them were slit.
The gruesome incident occurred at the residence of a retired teacher Rambabu Shukla. His son Shashikant Shukla has already passed away and his daughter-in-law and some relatives stayed with Rambabu at his residence. The ex-teacher was not present at home at time of the incident.
The other three murdered were Mahima Vedprakash Shula (17 years), Ambika Brijmohan Shukla (14 years) and Golu Ramkumar Sharma (15 years), sources said.
Police sources said Dixit was a home tutor for the children and had developed illicit relations with Reena. The children had caught them in compromising situation few times. This led Reena and Ankur to plot their murder so they did not spill the beans.
The three children were reportedly drugged and their throats slit by the duo on Saturday night. The house was messed up to give sense of a robbery.
However, things turned bad when Dixit decided to kill Chhavi too. Reena resisted and the scuffle resulted in Ankur killing both Reena and Chhavi, sources said.
