2019: BJP again promises Ram Temple, abrogation of Article 370, common civil code

NEW DELHI: The BJP has released its manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections. Once again the party has promised that it will ensure construction of Ram Temple and take steps to annul the Article 370 (and also 35A) in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party says, 'We reiterate our stand on Ram Mandir. We will explore all possiblities within the framework of the constitution and all necessary efforts tof acilitate the expeditious construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
BJP reiterates its stand to draft a uniform civil code. Besides, it talks about Jammu and Kashmir. "We have made all necessary efforts to ensure peace in Jammu and Kashmir through decisive actions and firm policy."
"We are committed to overcome all obstacles that come in the way of development and provide adequate financial resources to all the regions of the state. We reiterate our position since the time of the Jan Sangh to the abrogation of Article 370."
The other salient points in the manifesto include: Zero-tolerance towards terrorism, Welfare of soliders, Combating infiltration, Doubling farmers' income, Promoting Yoga globally, making healthcare accessible to all, Good Governance, Education for all, Women empowerment, Reservation for women in legislatures et al.
