HARDA: More than 2200 young players from 184 mixed-gender teams across 12 sports grounds in eight districts of Madhya Pradesh participated in the 2026 edition of the Samaveshi Cup - an initiative strengthening gender equality and youth leadership through sports.

The tournament, organised by Harda-based Synergy Sansthan seeks to prove that when opportunities are equal, leadership and talent flourish in every young person.

The district and tehsil level league matches of the tournament - an initiative strengthening gender equality and youth leadership through sports in Madhya Pradesh - were successfully held from December 26, 2025 to January 5, 2026

Following these exciting and inspiring matches, 16 best teams have now been selected for the state-level Super 16 round that will be played at Nehru Stadium, Harda on January 15, 2026.

The best teams from these matches will compete in the semi-finals and finals on January 16, 2026, where the Inclusive Cup 2026 champion team of Madhya Pradesh will be selected.

The biggest highlight of the Inclusive Cup is that girls are the team captains, and boys play the role of vice-captains, fostering a culture of equality and respect not only on the field but also in society.

Vimal Jat, CEO of Synergy Sansthan said that the winning teams will be awarded cash prizes. The First Prize is worth Rs 51,000, Second Prize – Rs 31,000, Third Prize –  Rs 21,000 and Fourth Prize of Rs 11,000

“These awards are not just trophies or cash prizes; they are recognition of the struggle, courage, and dreams of equality of thousands of young people. This is not just cricket — it's a story of social change,” he said.

This campaign, which started with just one team 6 years ago, has now grown to 200 teams. This tournament is breaking the stereotypes that still say "sports are for boys" or "leadership is for men." The Inclusive Cup says — leadership, sports, and dreams are for everyone.

The youngsters mostly belong to rural and semi-urban areas where girls often don't even get the opportunity to reach the playing field. But the Samaveshi Cup has given them not only the field but also the right to captaincy, decision-making, and leadership.

The participation of families, communities, and local administration has transformed it from a mere sporting event into a social movement. The basic theme of the tournament is "Equal Rights — The Field Belongs to All".
