BJP leader booked for rape, sexual abuse of girl in Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL: A BJP leader has been booked for allegedly raping and sexually abusing a minor girl in Vidisha.

The accused--Dr Piyush Saxena is an orthopaedic surgeon and was looking after party's media cell during elections. The girl told police that Dr Saxena was sexually abusing her for many years, starting when she was in school.

After she left the town, even then he tried to keep in touch and stalk her, threatening to make her photos, viral. Police have registered a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Party has suspended him.
