Former NCP leader Tariq Anwar joins Congress

NEW DELHI: Former NCP leader Tariq Anwar has finally joined Congress.

The senior leader who had quit the party along with Sharad Pawar and remained in NCP for long, decided to return to the Congress.

He met Rahul Gandhi at his residence in Delhi and announced his return. A former union minister and Lok Sabha member, Tariq Anwar's return can give party a boost in Bihar. [October 27 2018 NewsBits.in]
