Niwari to carved out as 52nd district in MP

BHOPAL: Niwari will become the 52nd district in Madhya Pradesh. The state cabinet has okayed the proposal.

It has been carved out of Tikamgarh. Three tehsils--Niwari, Prithvipur and Orchha will together form the district. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had earlier made an announcement in this regard.

With elections round the corner, State government has given the nod. On October 1, it will officially be the 52nd district of MP. [September 30, 2018 NewsBits.in]
