No immediate arrest in SC-ST Act, Shivraj promises Savarnas

BHOPAL: Under fire from Upper Caste groups, MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has now said that there will be no 'misuse' of the Prevention of Atrocities on SC/ST Act in MP. Chouhan went on to say that there will be no arrest before investigation in the State. The statement has come in wake of protests by Savarna (Upper Caste) groups in different cities.
