Holland: Far right-wing politician cancels caricature contest after global protests

A far right-wing politician in Holland who had planned a controversial caricature contest, has decided to cancel the event.
After global backlash and sensing the anger in Islamic world, Geert Wilders took this decision. He said that he did not want others' security endangered.
Wilders had earlier announced a competition on caricatures on Prophet Muhammad. Muslims across the world condemned it and in Pakistan, there were huge rallies, forcing govt to cut diplomatic relations with Netherlands. [Delhi, August 31, 2018 NewsBits.in]
