Former PM AB Vajpayee is no more, tributes pour in

Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 93, passed away after prolonged illness in Delhi. He was on life support system at the AIIMS.
Hailing from Gwalior, Vajpayee, had joined RSS as a youth and was associated with Jan Sangh from its early years. He was a founder member of BJP. He had three stints as PM--the first for 13 days, the second for 13 months and the last, a full term.
Under him, India conducted the second nuclear tests and in a bold initiative, he led the bus to Pakistan. Vajpayee had also reminded Modi about Raj Dharma in the wake of Gujarat riots. Tributes have poured from all over the world, after his demise. [New Delhi, August 16 NewsBits.in]
