Man who burnt copy of constitution, arrested

The police have arrested a man who was wanted for allegedly burning copies of Indian constitution at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi recently. The organisations--Youth Equality Foundation (Azad Sena) and Aarakshan Virodhi Party had organised the protest.
After complaints were made to police, separate teams conducted raids. Deepak Gaur of Aarakshan Virodhi Party was arrested from Faridabad. Abhishek Shukla, the co-accused, is absconding along with others who were seen in video of the incident. The accused said that the aim was to protest the Centre's decision to restore the original provisions of the Atrocities on SC-ST Act. [New Delhi, August 12, 2018 NewsBits.in]
