ABVP attacks professor, blackens face, parades him

Akhil Bharatiya Viddyarthi Parishad (ABVP) cadre attacked a professor and blackened his face in Gujarat. Professor Girin Baxi was publicly humiliated. The incident occurred on the premises of Shyamji Krishna Verma University in Bhuj district. The attack was linked to the elections in the college. which are scheduled to be held next month. Prof Baxi is a coordinator for the polls. He was later administered medication. The police have booked over a dozen students linked to ABVP. (Ahmedabad, June 27 2018--NewsBits.in)
