Horrific: 7-year-old girl abducted, assaulted, succumbs to injuries in hospital in Indore

INDORE: A seven-year-old who was abducted, taken to a desolate spot and brutally assaulted, has died in a hospital.

The incident occurred in Bhanwarkuan recently. The girl was battling for life but despite all efforts, doctors couldn't save her. The accused, Nakul, had told the child that she would get her, biscuits.

However, he took her to a deserted place. The girl was missing and police scanned CCTV footage to catch the culprit. Local residents suspected that he had taken the girl in order to rape her. The girl was critically injured and had several fractures. Expert doctors were called in view of her condition.

The neuro-surgeon and child surgeons too were called, however, she couldn't survive. The accused had initially tried to mislead the police.  Police said that Nakul has been arrested. Several officials remained stationed outside the hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to injuries.

The girl used to call her 'uncle'.The medical report confirmed that the girl was brutally hit and assaulted. The deceased's kin and local residents demanded stern action and also sought action against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The police are conducting a probe in this regard.
