Seven killed as violence erupts in MP during Bharat Bandh

Seven persons were reportedly killed in violence during Bharat Bandh in Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. The deaths took place in Bhind, Morena and Gwalior during the Bharat Bandh against alleged dilution of SC/ST (Atrocities) Act on Monday. Betu Pathak in Morena died when fires were allegedly shot by protesters. Violent protests led to curfew in Gwalior and Bhind. Sagar, Alirajpur also reported strong protests.
