HC revokes death sentence, rape-murder accused freed
The MP High Court on Thursday acquitted a rape-murder accused who was facing death penalty. The double bench of Justices SK Seth and HP Singh acquitted the accused Nagendra Tiwari for the want of clinching evidence. The bench said the prosecution failed to give any evidence to connect the accused with the crime. Tiwari was given death penalty by Sidhi district court for murder of a woman after unnatural sex and torture.
